Exotic Hardwoods for your Pool Table...

For a special pool table that is uniquely yours, sure to inspire future generations, nothing compares to the grace and elegance of exotic natural hardwoods. These can be specially selected domestic varieties, rare and exotic wood species gathered from the far corners of the earth, or antique wood salvaged from old barns and buildings or recovered from river bottoms.

Special hand rubbed oil finishes are applied to enhance and preserve the natural beauty of these extraordinary specimens.

Pool table models with solid carved legs are only available in hand rubbed mahogany, but other models can be made from any suitable wood species. (Pool tables made of stock maple, oak and cherry are normally stained and varnished rather than oiled.)

Since cost and availability can vary substantially over time, except for mahogany we cannot quote exotic hardwood prices in advance. Hand rubbed mahogany is subject to a $600 additional charge. The additional cost of other exotic hardwoods (as compared to stock maple or oak) are estimated in the table below. These are rough estimates only, subject to refinement after model and size are specified and the current cost and availability of the wood investigated.

The species and varieties shown below are by no means the only ones available. Dozens of others are available and we can suggest others once your general design ideas and preferences are known.
